What to do in Alcantara town, Cebu?Image Source: cebuanatraveller.com

Alcantara is a quiet town situated between Ronda and Moalboal and has a population of about 150,000. This coastal town isn’t often mentioned in travel blogs but it actually has some great places to offer. One of the best places to visit in Alcantara is the Alcantara Sea Paradise, an eco-tourism project that highlights the natural beauty of the town.

The Alcantara Sea Paradise is basically a 1-kilometer boardwalk with a zoo and a thicket of mangroves surrounding the pathway that leads to the coast. The project was constructed in 2016 and remains to have an entrance fee of P10 for adults and P5 for children.

According to EverythingCebu, you can find birds, monkeys, snakes and turtles at the Alcantara Sea Paradise. There is also a bangus fish pen and a watchtower made of bamboo.
