Buzz of the Day: Selena Gomez Apologizes to Justin Bieber After He Deletes His Instagram

Is it too late now to say sorry? Actually, it is.

Selena Gomez’s drama causing Instagram comment on ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber’s Instagram may have stemmed from her residual feelings she still has for him. At least that’s what Selena’s friend told People magazine.

"He was Selena's first love, and she hasn't been able to totally get over him," the source says.

Following Bieber's threat to make his Instagram private if Beliebers didn't stop making negative comments about his new girl, 17-year-old Sofia Richie (which by the way, FUN FACT, is Lionel Richie’s daughter), Selena Gomez commented some not-so sincere advice for her ex.

"If you can't handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol- It should be special between you two only," Gomez commented on a photo of the couple. "Don't be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before anyone ever did."

In response, Bieber wrote, "It's funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love."

This prompted the Where Are U Now singer to delete his Instagram account to the public. Selena Gomez posted a vague apology on Snapchat a few hours later.
