Rupert Grint read an Ed Sheeran song

Ron Weasley hilariously takes a jab on his doppelganger’s song.

Ed Sheeran may have originally written 'Shape of You' for Little Mix, and then Rihanna, but the track was clearly better suited to Ed's doppelgänger, the Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.

In a video for Yahoo!, Grint recites the lines “Last night you were in my room, and now my bed sheets smell of you”, plus “Oh, I. Oh, I” over and over again before bursting into laughter.

After watching Grint’s dramatic – and hilarious – reading of the hit single, we reckon it's worth starting a petition to get Rupert to cover the entire song. Grint has previously appeared in Sheeran’s video for ‘Lego House’ and has discussed how people think they look alike.

He even joked about the fact that he and Ed look alike: “I can’t see the resemblance at all really… It’s just the hair color.
