Beyonce recently FaceTimed with the late Ebony Banks, a teenager with a rare cancer disease.
Ebony Banks is a teenager from Houston, Texas. She has just passed away after years of battling a rare form of cancer. But her friends and family have reported that Banks passed away a happy girl for her wish to meet Beyonce before she died was fulfilled.
"I understand she had a smile on her face till the very end," Craig Eichhorn said, a spokesman for Alief Independent School District, where Banks studied,
Banks spoke to the Beyoncé after her family and classmates started a social media campaign on her behalf. The shared hashtag #ebobmeetsbeyonce received thousands of heartfelt retweets, which got through to the Queen Bee.
Beyoncé then surprised Banks with a FaceTime video call while in the hospital.

Four days later, Banks passed away. The students at Alief Hastings High School, from which Banks had recently graduated and where she was a member of the color guard for four years, organized a candlelight vigil in the band practice lot.
