Four female students will be lucky to have Beyonce sponsor their college scholarship
Beyonce has announced she will be offering four US students scholarships to mark the anniversary release of her critically-acclaimed album ‘Lemonade’.
The singer will offer scholarships to four young women studying creative arts, music, literature, or African-American studies. They will be available at four universities for entry next year. They are Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spelman College.
A statement on her website, Beyonce said the scholarships are designed to "encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box".
The students will be called Formation Scholars, named after one of the tracks on her 2016 album.
