Pearl Jam’s new album is on the way. The last time this iconic grunge rock band released a full-length album was in 2013 with their positively reviewed record ‘Lightning Bolt’. Now five years later, the band surprised fans by unexpectedly releasing a solid single entitled Can’t Deny Me.
This song was first released exclusively to members of the Ten Club fan-site where it was announced that a new Pearl Jam album will be coming soon. A few days later, the band made the song available to stream to all.
A press release confirmed that Can’t Deny Me will be included in the new album. This political song that takes aim at U.S. President Donald Trump was written by Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready and was recorded just this February.
No further information was said about the upcoming album. No one is not yet sure when exactly it will be released or what the album might be called. The band is currently touring the world making stops in Boston as late as September.
