Remember Top Gun? The 1986 romantic military action drama film starring Tom Cruise is getting a sequel and production of the movie has just started.
Tom Cruise confirmed the filming through Twitter by sharing a teaser poster of the much awaited sequel which is to be titled “Top Gun: Maverick”. Cruise captioned the photo with “Day 1”, a subtle announcement of their first day of shooting.

Cruise also tagged producer Jerry Bruckheimer in the tweet, which suggests that the iconic 80’s producer of action movies is behind the sequel. According to Variety Top Gun: Maverick will be set in a world of drone technology.
