  • Anne-Marie, an up-and-coming artist from the UK, first dropped Alarm May of last year. With the release of the song, she included a press release that says, “Alarm’ is about somebody I was dating and I guess I just always had a suspicion that he was doing something naughty. I’m a bit of an investigator and I found out my inkling was right! The thing is, he left someone to be with me and I always thought he could do it again.”
  • 26-year old Anne-Marie used to be a child star. She started performing professionally in musical theater at the age of six and starred alongside a young Jessie J in Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End production of Whistle Down The Wind. Alongside singing and dancing, Anne-Marie trains in karate, where she's a three-time world champion in the shotokan discipline.

  • After DJ Khaled first heard the instrumental for this tune from beatmaker Nic Nac, he knew he wanted his long-time friend Justin Bieber to be a guest vocalist. The pair listened to the track in Bieber's truck and Bieber liked it. However, he insisted that Khaled play a match of hockey against him first, before agreeing to be featured in the song.
  • I’m the One marks the third time Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper worked together. The first found Chance appearing on Bieber’s “Confident” from his album Journals. The favor was then returned on “Juke Jam,” from Chance’s third solo project, Coloring Book.
