Because being stylish should be stress-free and breezy!
I've looked into different tips from fashion bloggers, stylists and even nifty plain Janes who came up with some great tips to make our lives easier. We bet you never thought of these before:
Tip #1: A teabag, lemon peel or a sprinkle of some baking soda are great shoe deodorizers!
You can use either of these three while you store your shoes.
Tip #2: Use a rubber band on the ends of your hangers so your clothes won't slide off!
You don't need to buy a new set of hangers- this nifty trick will save you extra cash and frustrating closet slips!
Tip #3: Use stale bread to clean suede shoes.
Suede is one of the most high-maintenance materials when it comes to shoes. Now you don't need to buy overpriced shoe cleaners with this trick.
Tip #4: Chapstick, Petroleum Jelly, a crayon or some oil can loosen up stuck zippers.
Since these are emollient materials, these help the zipper glide easier!
Tip #5: Toothpaste works great on cleaning white soles.
Who would've thought? Just keep in mind to not let stains go untouched for long as this is the case of the soles turning into a yellowish color.
Tip #6: Spritz hairspray on your tights to prevent them from running!
Maintaining tights can be hard work but luckily this life hack helps.
Tip #7: Store nailpolish in the fridge for atleast 15 minutes for easier application.
Ideally polish should be stored in the fridge. This lets the product glide easier against your tips.
Tip #8: Store skincare products and liquid makeup inside the fridge.
We live in a warm climate and liquid products tend to go rancid faster. A bonus: your moisturizer will feel cooling and your foundation will last you more than a year.
Tip #9: Stretch a pair of tight shoes by blow drying the tight area while wearing thick socks and the shoes.
New shoes can hurt our feet so break into your pair with this hack.
Tip #10: Replace a broken zipper with a key ring.
Now go cancel your trip to the repair shop!
