1.) Yesterday we concluded the dive sites in Luzon with Ilocos province. Today, we’ll discuss about the dive sites in Visayas. One of the most popular diving destinations in the country, Boracay. With lots of dive sites surrounding Boracay, including beautiful coral reefs, sheer walls and wrecks, there is something to entertain and excite every diver. Stay tuned for more as we tell you about the dive sites in Boracay. Don’t forget to dive safely and #divesafePH

2.) One of the top dive sites on Boracay is Crocodile Island. It’s very popular with all levels of diver. It has a very healthy sloping coral reef with plenty of both soft and hard corals with a massive variety of macro life with different types of nudibranch, anemones and the full range of fish life simply covering the area. Another dive site is the Punta Bonga 1 & 2. This sites marks the point at which the sea topography starts to change the drop-off comes closer to shore here than at the more southern sites and also becomes deeper and steeper. Another is the Friday’s Rock. A large rock rising from 18m to about 10m. Plentiful marine life can be found on the rock itself, on the sandy areas and patch reefs surrounding it, and especially over the top of the rock where spectacular fish displays can be witnessed. Don’t forget to dive safely and #divesafePH

3.) As we continue on with the dive sites in Bocaray, we give you one of the dive sites that are great for beginners which is the Nasog Point. It is a good snorkeling site when the current is not too strong, Nasog Point has an interesting bottom composition of masive boulders and canyons with some good coral cover, including gargonians and soft corals. Another dive site is the Laurel Island. This is a beautiful wall dive with a lovely coverage of feather stars, sponges and healthy coral varieties, especially table and soft corals. Many different types of nudibranch can be found here and this site is great as a dive for macro photographers. Another is Tri-Bird Wreck. The wreck sits up-side-down with the nose on the deeper part of the gentle slope. Beyond the wreck, the reef drops off as a steep wall with the possibility of larger marine life coming up from the deep. Don’t forget to dive safely and #divesafePH
