5 Seconds of Summer has returned with a brand new single entitled ‘Teeth’. The single ventures into the darker audio territory that 5SOS initially explored on their summer hit ‘Easier’.
Featuring guitar work from Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, ‘Teeth’ finds 5SOS channeling Aussie band AC/DC.
The song details a relationship tug-of-war, its chorus announcing "You talk so pretty but your heart's got teeth" against a constant chug of distorted guitar led by Morello.
The official video for the single was directed by Thibaut Duvereix and the clip features the band becoming subjects of a mind experiment that triggers hallucinations.
‘Teeth’, which is the second single from the band’s forthcoming album, will also appear on the original soundtrack to 13 Reasons Why (Season 3).
