30 years later, the force is still strong

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has continues to live up to its hype and expectations. It is now being called the best selling movie of all time and has earned a whopping $529 million in its opening weekend alone. Jiggy Jr was one of the first on the scene to watch the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and he was not disappointed.

The general rule seems to be that if you have high expectations for something then, the tendency is to be disappointed. “Not in this case” Jiggy Jr comments. He was ecstatic because a whole year of hype, trailers, and all the Star Wars promotions did not take away from the actual movie.

“It was like watching Star Wars for the first time again” Jiggy described the sensation. For many avid fans and Star Wars enthusiasts it was like being a kid all over again. Seeing the special effects was reminiscent of the first trilogy, and how the cinematography in that saga was just mind blowing. “It was like history repeating itself.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens continues 30 years after the first trilogy (episodes IV, V, VI) after the fall of the Galactic Empire. JJ Abrams was keen on sticking to the original look and feel of the original Star Wars franchise and really lived up to the George Lucas franchise.
