These were the main events during the Sinulog Festival and it was the first time I have been into these events.

The crowd was wild as the DJ takes them to the peak of the song. It was some kind of mutual energy which was almost never-ending. There is always something that connects the people and music where it controls their brain and gives nothing but pleasure and happiness. There’s always that indescribable feeling when you are one with the people, people you never knew, jumping with you to the beat of the music.

Each event had its own highlight and every experience was definitely amazing. The three events were almost like a rival to each other in terms of popularity! Every entrance was filled with long lines which can take you hours until you get to the entrance. You see people who can’t wait to get in, people pushing around just to get in. Sinulog Invasion even had their tickets sold out yet you see a lot of people at the entrance area begging for entry.

All in all, the experience was good. The DJs, local and international, did their thing and made everyone go crazy. You hear people singing along to the music, uniformly swinging their arms, participating, responding to the emcees… everyone was just bursting with energy!
