For years, fans have been clamoring for Jack Black and Jack White to work together and it looks like the “Jack Gray” collaboration is finally coming true.
Last Saturday, Tenacious D shared a video that revealed that the duo recorded with White in Nashville. In the video, Black says, “We’re heading over to Jack White’s house to record a single.”
The video also includes a behind-the-scenes footage from Tenacious D’s Lollapalooza set in Chicago.
Rumors over a potential collaboration began circulating earlier this year when the three lads met at one of Tenacious D's concerts in London.
The band posted a photograph of the trio, with White holding up a Tenacious D t-shirt. The caption read: "We hired a new merch guy."
The snap sent fans into a frenzy, with plenty of requests for them to record something together.
A release date has yet to be revealed.
