It's going to be a doting Friday Gold Rush with all those lovin' tracks on the trot to prep you up for the Valentine weekend!

From Jiggy In The Morning all the way to Bootleg Gold's grand finale, it's going to be all those love tracks that reminded you young chaps of how you'd spend endless hours up on Tops courting your females, or for you ladies, the love songs that made you fall in love with your partners. It's the kind of music that will make you reminisce on your first date, your first kiss, and some of you even your first mischievous twist of fate!

This one's for sure: Donald Fagen's I.G.Y. (What A Beautiful World) will be somewhere in that playlist – how can it not be with the title alone referring to the International Geophysical Year when scientists came together to envision green concepts such as solar powered cities, transatlantic tunnels, space stations and spandex jackets? This 80s jazz-rock track relates to the future of our planet and really, we should all reflect on Mother Earth as when we carry her within us, love is born!

I'll bet Ambrosia's Biggest Part Of Me will be in there too – its lyrics can only remind you of a true love and the tag in itself says it all! "Well, make a wish, baby, and I will make it come true; make a list baby, of the things I'll do for you" says enough to conquer anyone's heart, so kudos to the owner of those exquisite and flawless love verses! Hands down, this 1980 soft rock track is positively a Valentine abductor!

The 90s had their share of sophisticated love songs – here's one I will permanently remember from the film The Bodyguard. Although a cover from a Dolly Parton original, Whitney Houston transported I Will Always Love You to the top of the Billboard Hot 100s listing it at its supremacy for 14 weeks! A powerful giant, it is categorically a Valentine dynamo!

In 1993, All-4-One covered the Number 1 ballad that promises his partner that he will always love her in the significant tune I Swear – a very poignant song which was originally done in a country version by John Michael Montgomery and crossed over to the pop version in 1994 a few months after its first release. This one's a sure shot too for Valentines!

I heard Chad The Stud's doing a special theme today – all the maudlin love songs that tug at heartstrings! A quixotic himself, I can believe he'll have a great line up of passionately ardent tracks coming your way.

And then, we have Bootleg Gold to culminate the day with all those rockin' hits – songs that have the word love in them! Anticipate Van Halen to kick off the show with outstanding tracks like Ain't Talking About Love as one of the featured artists for this week's special; some Beatles, U2, Aerosmith, Queen, Kravitz and more of those big names should be in there to make it no ordinary show as well!

So yes, it gonna be one hella #fbf on Y101 when you go back in time for Valentines on this exceptional #fbf Gold Rush, so stay stuck for this ride of a lifetime!
