Is it really R.I.P. Zigi at this point?
It's been a tough week for the ultimate celebrity #squad. Just one day after news broke of Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’s breakup, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have reportedly followed suit after seven months of making it official. The couple reportedly had an ugly fight during Gigi's birthday back in March and rumors about the two breaking up and getting back together have been a never-ending cycle. However, it seems it could be a Ross and Rachel style ‘break’ as pals of the 21-year-old model and 23-year-old former One Direction star believe they’ll be back on in no time.
After the news broke, Gigi snapped a card saying "I know its obvious but I love you" and is also snapping pics with fellow model Kendall Jenner. Different news sources say that the two are likely to get back together but its pretty obvious that Gigi is leaning onto her friends for support. Reports also claim that Gigi is sad about what has happened and 's more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses. At the moment, there's no news about the issue from Zayn's camp. Sadly, news of their break-up comes just weeks after Gigi was reportedly planning on setting up home with Zayn and leaving her home in New York to move in with Zayn in his LA pad.
But then again, the model is no stranger to short-lived romances. Gigi previously dated musician Joe Jonas for five months, but they split a few weeks before she began dating Zayn in November last year. She also previously dated Zayn's former One Direction band mate Harry Styles (we hope it wasn't awkward for the 1D boys), as well as Australian singer-songwriter Cody Simpson.
Meanwhile, we'll be expecting another break-up anthem by Taylor Swift with Gigi making a cameo in the future hit's music video.
