For the woman who knows how to travel in style.... A woman with sense and sensibility... She slips into a life of fashion , that defy time travel hassles and embrace the ideals of dressing right and light... From daytime casuals to afternoon cocktails , to evening formals , she makes sure that every dressy moment leaves no time to waste. Every piece of garment transforms at a wink of an eye, as she moves from one place , one time, to another. She is the modern day stylista on the go.
Travel light. Choosing your wardrobe when planning on a stylish destination, whether on a weeklong cruise to the Caribean or just to party at some famous hot spot in Singapore and Hong Kong, or even Vegas , I suggest you bring quick and easy to transform pieces that serves the purpose right . Skipping the basics , here are a few of my ideas in mind to crease out your travel wardrobe dilemma ...
STRETCH.... It's a comfortable alternative for day or evening.. It allows you to move freely , and is wrinkle free and folding is definitely not a problem. Perfect examples are spandex or jersey fabrics. Also available are stretch tulles and lace that snug you up like a glove.
BLACK.... The most versatile color staple and blends well when combined with other shades in the color spectrum. Black also gives you the slimming illusion you've always wanted and never goes out of style. It's a classic that never fail to flatter.
ALL IN ONE... Available in a variety of designs, this ready to wear dress gives you the options to wear it your own way. Usually in stretch fabric and is characterized as a wrap around dress and fits you in so many ways. From a chic halter cut, it easily slips out into a sleek tube to a sexy plunging sleeveless. 1,2 3... and the countdown goes on...
CONVERTIBLE... I just love the term. It reminds me of a top down car , or even the Transformers where you totally change in shape and look , in an instant. I design clothes like these especially for clients who don't wanna spend so much and somehow bargain for two pieces of garments for the price of one. Usually I design a mini dress underneath a maxi overdress which can be easily removed especially when a quick change is in necessary . Monochromatic shades of a color are easy to manage, but color blocks sometimes do the trick. Reversible fabrics are also a good option when creating a convertible. The gesture recreating different looks all alone, is like a fashion show on it's own.
Now that's what I call Cruise Couture...
So when you think of traveling next time, fly away in style or cruise your way into fashion's chic alternatives that sets your free from wardrobe hassles and packing confusion. Remember when you travel , shopping is always next on your list. And maybe you'll end up paying for extra baggage coming back home. So plan your wardrobe ahead and just bring along the right stuff going to that fashion destination.
Always A la Mode...
