It was made clear by director Ridley Scott that Harrison Ford will not be in the new Blade Runner movie which is currently in the works.
To those who were old enough to get into the cinemas way back in 1982 (yours truly not included) would have remembered this 1982 cult film based on the novel by Philip Dick which starred the young (now old but filthy rich) Harrison Ford as a retired detective hired to find a group of androids passing off as humans which could have been the benchmark for movies a decade or two later such as A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) with Haley Joel Osment and i Robot starring Will Smith that revolved around non-humans or androids / cyborgs trying to fit into society or thats how the story goes. Scott goes on to say that the sequel is moving forward minus the cast from the previous movie. There is no given date yet as to when filming will start but everyone knows what a good director Ridley Scott is from his past movies such as Alien (1979), G.I. Jane (1997), Gladiator (2000), Black Hawk Down (2001), & Body of Lies (2008) to name a few.
