Who would have thought that a program would be designed or made specifically to weed out or block the band Nickelback from our browsers? Unfortunately it is true, the much hated Canadian rockers are about to be wiped from the worldwide web thanks to an ingenious (nasty) new blog.
Music fans and die hard rockers who download the free "Nickelblock" tool from Aux.tv will be able to eliminate all mention of the rock band led by Chad Kroeger on their Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers. This sad news follows the recent survey by a dating site which named the band as the biggest musical turn-off for romantics (hopeless cheesy ones I bet).
Aside from the 2 low blows the band has received they've also been petitioned by 50,000 fans of the Detriot Lions to halt the band's planned halftime performance at the American football team's home game against the Green Bay Packers during Thanksgiving day. Perhaps this string of bad luck just goes to show that everything is balanced, nothing stays on top forever but that life in the entertainment biz is also comparable to being on a wheel.
