Beauty queens are thought of to be genetically engineered; this Southern Belle has always believed that her inner strength and beauty instinctively brought her to where she is at present.

With the ranks of Cebu's top models and barely two years in the mainstream modeling industry, and stints at local fashion shows and the prestigious Philippine Fashion Week events, Rog, as fashion insiders call her, achieved quite a number of accolades to her name. Cool and calm by nature, Rog is a typical Filipina with good looks, with that classic charm pageant, smile and gaze; it’s not a question why she always makes it at the top 5 in numerous pageants especially the Miss Cebu 2010 pageant that positioned Rog to become the next face to watch out for.

True enough Rog undoubtedly bagged the coveted title of Ms. Aliwan Queen 2011 held at the Aliw Theater in Manila. This annual national tourism based pageant didn’t fail to recognize Rog's unmistakable grace and wit, that brought the house down when she blew away the judges with her candidly “hot and spicy " answer. Cebuanos couldn't be more proud of the new title.

Recently, Rog took managing time with such ease as she juggled up modeling with her hectic nursing board exam review schedule. As for her career at present, she loves the runway, and being on stage is natural for her, but print projects and fashion editorials are zooming in her way quite lately. With AD MODELS Management handling Rog will soon be seen on the pages of Zee Lifestyle magazine's next issue, the face of Gaisano Country Mall's bridal ad campaign, and as the 2012 cover girl of a Cebu Publications yearbook.

Rog, Cebu’s Model of the Moment as what she is recently tagged, is not just resting on her laurels too soon. She not only puts her knowledge, skills and attitude to just about anything, but she puts it on the pageant battle field as she has just made it to the top 25 finalist for the first ever Miss World Philippines pageant come September.

Wearing a Dexter Alazas wardrobe and made up by Cebu’s best Jonas Borces, she swept away the judges and pinned down hundreds of other hopefuls who are vying for a spot in the first Ms. World Philippines.

With sheer determination and focus, she might just bring home another crown to our very own city, the beauty queen capital of the south.  With Cebu's top mentors and builders at her back, Rogelie Catacutan might just be the next Beauty Queen set to conquer the world.
