1. Yesterday, we talked about Siquijor as one of the diving destinations in the country. To add another diving destination in the Philippines is Bohol. Bohol province is one of the provinces that have the densest diving population all throughout the year. Bohol offers some of the best dive spots in the Philippines. Even the house reef offers an exciting wall dive, covered with colorful hard and soft corals. Colorful reef dwellers like trumpet-, parrot- and cuttlefish, angel fishes, batfishes and so on are found on every dive. Stay tuned for more later as we tell you about the dive sites in Bohol. Don’t forget to dive safely and #divesafePH

2. Earlier, we told you about Bohol being one of the provinces that have the densest diving population in the country. To name one dive site is the Tangnan Wall. This is an easy dive site for Open Water Divers or higher; good for macro diving and macro photography at the shallow depth. This is a good alternative site for diving when the Habagat wind blows and is too strong at the Alona side. Another dive site is the Balicasag Island which is one of the most popular dive site in the province. Balicasag is a flat island four kilometers southwest of the Doljo Point off of Pangalo Reef, which is about 30-45 minutes from Panglao Island. Narrow reefs are about nine to 49.5 meters wide, are one of the many reasons why Balicasag Island has gained popularity among many foreign and local divers. 3. One of the dive sites in Bohol is the Arco Point or Hole in the Wall. In this cave, you can find Cardinal fish and Sergeant major fish. Around the entrance of the hole (8m) are well hidden Raggy scorpion fish. Inside the cave at about 10m you can see White-eyed moray eel and Black finned snake eels. Along the wall you find Groupers, Wrasse, Butterfly fish and Cuttlefish. Another dive site is the Cervesa Shoal. Cervesa Shoal is commonly known as Snake Island or Spaghetti Reef due to the thriving amount of sea snakes found here. The site lies directly south of Panglao with a steep slope and a 300 meter wide sandbar. Don’t forget to dive safely and #divesafePH
