This coming Love month check out the "SM 2 SM RUN - Cebu" which will be held on February 13, 2012 which features a unique category that would have a runner not only depend on themselves, but also on their partners.
The SM 2 SM Run will offer the usual categories in most runs, but the highlight of the event will be the Radisson Blu Hotel couples’ category. It will be a tandem run wherein couples will run together and must finish together holding hands,” said Dr. Yong Larrazabal in a press conference, to formally announce the first SM-organized running event, at the Radisson Blu Hotel yesterday.
The couples’ run will be divided into two distances, 6K and 12K. Interested couples just have to show a valid marriage certificate for them to be eligible to run in this unique category.
The first finishers of the couples’ run will be awarded with an overnight stay for two at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The other distances in the SM 2 SM run are 3K, 5K, 12K and 21K for both male and female categories.
The running event will start at the Northwing of SM City Cebu pass to through SRP and to the site where a new SM will be built soon and finish back at the Northwing
