DAYLY Entertainment and ARF Production is proud to bring the world renowned singer songwriter Bryan Adams who gave us the hits such as “Straight from the Heart”, “Please Forgive Me”, “Heaven” and “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)” this February 18, 2012 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum!
Adams has been given numerous awards for his contributions to music. These include 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy nominations including a win for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television. In addition he also won 2 Ivor Novello Awards for song composition and has been given recognition by Golden Globe and the Academy Awards for his songwriting in for films.
His breakout album “Cuts Like A Knife” released in January 1983, achieved three times platinum status in Canada, platinum in the United States and gold in Australia. Its single “Straight From the Heart” was the most successful song in the album having reached number 10 in the Billboard Hot 100. Other singles from the album that gained global recognitions were “Cuts Like a Knife” and “This Time”. By November 1984, Adams released another album “Reckless”, with hits like “Summer of 69”, “Heaven”, “Somebody” and “It’s Only Love” a duet with Tina Turner, making it Adams’ best-selling album.
