The Cultural Center of the Philippines’ weekly folk dance series Filipiniana Sunsets continues every Wednesday, 6pm this February at the CCP ASEAN Park.
Held outdoors and free of charge, Filipiniana Sunsets regales audiences with the colorful pageantry of local folk songs and dances set against the world famous Manila Sunset. It features community-based and school-based folk dance groups.
This February, Filipiniana Sunsets will begin with the UPLB Filipiniana Dance Troupe on February 1 followed by the Marikina Dance Guild on February 8, Sining Bulakenyo on February 15, Kaloob Philippine Music and Dance Ministry on February 22 and the Umalahukan Diliman Theater and Dance Company on February 29, 2012.
