On Mother’s Day, Kim Kardashian West, the wife of rapper Kanye West and mother to his children North and Saint, woke up to find a 12-piece orchestra in the living room.
Kanye and Kim tied the knot in May 24, 2014 in Italy. They had their first child North in 2013 and the second, Saint, in 2014. Since then they have been labeled as a power couple and their relationship and marriage was referred as a “historic blizzard of celebrity”.
The couple has been known to be eccentrics. Kim launched her own emoji line called KIMOJI and Kanye, of course, is known for being Kanye.
During the morning of Mother’s Day, Kanye surprised Kim with a female 12-piece orchestra playing show tunes from musicals.
Kim posted on her Snapchat accounts clips of what her morning looked like. She is seen carrying North from the balcony and looking down on the 12-piece ensemble playing Tomorrow from the musical Annie.
Kanye also bought his wife a flower bench. Kim posted a picture of his husband’s gift to her, a bench made entirely of pink roses.
Kanye recently spoke of how proud he is of his 35-year-old wife and the way she "empowers" women.
He said: "She broke boundaries with fashion where designers weren't trying to make clothes with women with shape, and now they're all about embracing and empowering women”
Kim linked her Snapchat pictures to her Instagram. This is a clip of the 12-piece orchestra playing Let it Go from the Disney film Frozen.
