This is a very interesting question that came to light over the past few days. Why this came into mind is because we all have heard about peoples "Twitter" account being hacked or commandeered by people who just for the fun of it create chaos by leaking information or posting false statements.
Latest victim was the Thai PM who's Twitter account was taken over by someone and posts were made that undermined her current leadership. Another said victim was singer Chris Brown who was more unfortunate since his sexuality was in question. Yes, I poop you not! Chris Brown is now rumored to be gay after he traded barbs with another singer Martyn on Twitter's private messaging option wherein their conversation was leaked eventually leading to the theory that on that night he beat Rihanna up was not because of an earlier report of Rihanna giving him STD but because of her peeking at his phone and seeing assorted pictures of Chris Brown having a sausage fest instead of cheating with other women. Security online is very critical, never use commonly used passwords such as birthdays, names, or those that can easily be cracked by punching random numbers.
If there is one thing I've been bad at its remembering passwords but as time passes by it gets easier to remember new passwords which are entered on a daily basis to avoid unauthorized access by other people. Best way to have a "strong" password is to have a capital letter, numbers and letters (alphanumeric) something that you can easily recall at a moments notice but not to common for others to know. If you are used to using computers at cafe's or even share a PC at home or work always remember to log off and update your password daily to avoid slip ups. There is also a key logger program that captures keystrokes where by it is quite easy to access the password to an email account by simply copying the string of data after the email account.
Personally I wouldn't mind someone hacking into celebrities Twitter accounts for the reason that juicy tidbits are hard to come by nowadays. Wonder when Lady GaGa's or Lindsay Lohan's Twitter accounts would be hacked so we'd know what goes inside their heads. Until that happens you can always check out the latest story on @Y101FM, just don't hack it.
