It's been a year since I started working at Y101 and honestly speakong my previous jobs didn't last this long.
I never found a place interesting enough to stay for a long time which I figured was due to my dire need of always trying to find something to fill my insatiable hunger for new and exciting things each day that removed the notion of redundancy or that dragging sensation doing the same routine day in and day out. Not to set a bad example but I'm just the type that won't stop moving forward just coz I'm in a secure place already, rather I keep enhancing my thirst for constant self improvement. My stint with Y101 started back in September 2010 training under John M at Rock Bottom Radio then moved on to do Late Night Rhythms for a good number months which meant covering Christmas 2010, New Year 2011, Holy Week 2011 which for me was a better deal from what my work description was before having to report 9 hours especially during important holidays. We all know that "working to earn" is fine but completely different from "having fun working and earning" my apologies if my terminologies often go beyond the norms of accepted English parameters but to get the point across one has to mess it up a little. What I'm saying now may coincide with my previous article about "Horrible Bosses" in some way but it boils down to another dilemma, not everyone can have their dream job simply because that clearly would upset the balance of things. What would the world be like uf everyone was a famous basketball player and gorgeous supermodel right? Life is not always picture perfect but how we develop that picture into perfection is something anyone can do. So if yoi ever think you're better off doin something else then strive for it as well as consider how fortunate you may be compared to others.
