A few days ago someone came out to shed new light into the untimely deaths of 2Pac and Notorious BIG way back in the late 90's which until now remains unsolved.
It is a known fact that the East and West coast were at bitter odds in the past which gave rise to a lot of fights. On both sides there was Death Row Records of Marion "Suge" Knight and Bad Boy Records of Sean "Diddy" Combs with their respective artists battling it out in the music scene. A new tell all book (Murder Rap) written by a retired law enforcement officer named Greg Kading states that it was the bosses of the two records labels that had ordered the "hit" of 2Pac and Notorious BIG. First to fall was 2Pac who was shot while in Vegas after watching the Mike Tyson - Bruce Seldon match at the MGM Grand, after a number of operations he died 6 days later from his wounds, the book then states that Diddy had recruited a Los Angeles gang member named Duane Keith "Keffe D" Davis to murder 2Pac. As a show of retaliation from Death Row Records, Knight took revenge by ordering Wardell "Poochie" Fouse to shoot BIG on March 9, 1997 after leaving a concert which was forced to end early by the Fire Department due to overcrowding at the venue. For the record both murders have remained unsolved and possibly will remain that way until someone who has a detailed knowledge of the events leading up to the murders would come out to spill the beans. Fast forward to the news implicating Diddy in the murder of 2Pac, he has vehemently denied the allegations that he ordered the hit on 2Pac. Rumors from the past even suggested that Diddy might have had a hand in BIG's death considering the way his career skyrocketed after the song "I'll Be Missing You" featuring BIG's wife. Again this all remains just guesses and rumors until solid proof is definitely uncovered or presented. Though much has changed after the death's of 2Pac and Notorious BIG in terms of various artists from the East and West collaborating with each other removing the line that divides them showing that they are united...most of the times fortunately. We are only left to wonder what the two might have accomplished if their lives weren't snuffed out that soon, they may have even reached a point that they would do an album together. Wishful thinking from a music lover such as myself that will never be realized due to things that are beyond our reach or influence. Let's just bask in songs such as "California Love", "Changes" by 2Pac and "Hypnotize" by Notorious BIG.
