Reversal of FORTUNE for Nicholas CagePDFPrintE-mail

We all know that Nicholas Cage had been in the dumps the past year or so after outspending himself with lavish and extravagant items enough to make an A lister feel ashamed of his status compared to Cage's. From buying castles in Europe to a flotilla of yachts and Roll Royce Phantoms to exclusive parties, Nicholas cage lived the live he portrayed in movies such as Face Off and God of War. Until reality stepped in to give him a wake up call that his money was not perpetual and he learned it the hard way loosing everything as bills piled up. He was pegged by Forbes as earning a cool million in 2009 and is considered to be one of most highest paid actors in Hollywood but when he was at his low point he accepted every role thrown at him left and right regardless if the story sucked or was a surefire hit in the box office. His son even came out to say that his dad bought the skull of a saber tooth tiger just for kicks, now while on vacation on Alaska he bought a knife with a handle made out of a mammoth's tusk for ,000.00 which is a dismal amount compared to how rolled before his financial problems but what strikes us as audacious is that the knife intended to be a display piece will actually be used by Cage to cut his steak. For some people it's best to use what you bought rather than let it gather dust in a display case! Nicholas Cage is not alone in spending obscene amounts to get something, take for example the featured article about a dentist buying John Lennon's tooth, now thats something even the Tooth Fairy can't cash in on. We can only dream of doing such extravagant things but its quite helpful to know there are people who make us see our dreams in the real world.
