For those of us (men) who know Sasha Grey, we usually associate her with our fantasies as the woman who can definitely blow our minds and need not much for a standing ovation. To those who don't know her, well she is or used to (now officially retired) be active in the adult film industry (Legend & 2010 AVN awardee). The controversy she has gotten herself into is not about her past work but about the latest gig she did which was volunteering for the Read Across America program. As of press time the former actress (goddess) maintains that she has no plans to stop volunteering her own time to promote education anytime soon (sex education is one thing she'd definitely be a hit at). Naturally when parents (mom's specially and wussy husbands) heard that the former porn star was reading to their kids last November 2 they had become upset and concerned but to add to more injury the school tried to cover it up thru their spokesperson who denied Sasha was even in the classroom to begin with. Unfortunately, the cat was out of the bag when Sasha posted on Twitter that she spent the morning reading to 1st & 3rd grade students. Damage control again could have been enacted but it was hard to deny it when 10 photographs of Sasha reading "Dog Breath" (too doggie) and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" (too fishy) to a room full of children surfaced. But we don't expect 1st and 3rd graders to really know what a porn star is unless if self taught or stumbles on daddy & mommy's secret stash then thats a different story. It's a harmless and great effort for someone to spend time with kids reading them a story from a book so why make a huge fuss about it when nothing out of the ordinary happened. It's not like people really complained when the late Michael Jackson spent time with kids right? Until he made the mistake of hitting on kids who's family were on welfare! Genuine efforts by people should never be misjudged or contradicted, society needs to be more open and accept others regardless of their background or past.
