It seems that with the lockout over, most NBA players are getting their game faces back on for the quick season coming up. Just as I wrote a few days back about how LBJ was hanging out as a guest player for a Jewish basketball league here comes Kobe who had dropped by a local Jewish Community Center in Irvine, California and asked if he could borrow the court for a hardcore training session (Doesn't the LA Lakers have one?). Those in-charge of the JCC were more than happy to let the Black Mamba use the court for his "training" who couldn't have been more nicer giving those at the center an early Hanukkah.
Kobe and his trainer then proceeded to work on some shooting drills and cardio training while a group of chosen people witnessed the once in a lifetime feat. The training session lasted for more than half and hour which the spectators claimed that Kobe was looking as sharp as ever. As players are not expected to rejoin their teams for a few days (post-lockout) a little practice + publicity here and there wouldn't hurt the Black Mamba's commercial image.
