In Hollywood where almost everything is status quo, there are still certain boundaries that actors like to maintain to avoid issues or troubles with their partners who are not in the biz. And who else better to show that than actor Mark Wahlberg who supposedly choose to bare his buns in exchange for cutting a steamy sex scene in an upcoming movie Broken City so his wife would not be upset.
Wahlberg wed model Rhea Durham in 2009 after eight years together and Wahlberg admits he goes to great lengths to ensure his film roles are romance-free. He goes on to say that if it has anything to do with him kissing somebody his wife's not gonna like it so he'll fight to get it cut out. Those are the more important issues and that he usually try to choose my battles wisely (wise answer).
The Oscar-nominated actor admits convincing Hughes to drop a big sex scene in the new crime thriller did cost him his dignity for another shot. The love scene in the movie Broken City was very graphic and he really didn't want to do it. His onscreen love interest plays an actress and there's this really hardcore sex scene and so obviously that scene had to be cut out with a compromise that he had to be nude in the said sex scene by myself after the steamy shot which was Mark being butt naked for six hours.
Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones also star in Broken City, which is due for release in 2013.
