I did not dare miss the chance and opportunity to take part in the upcoming Ms. Casino Filipino 2011 Pageant organized by Casino Filipino with Y101 Always First
 as the official media partner for the Cebu leg of the competition. This is the first time they had come up with such a nationwide pageant to showcase the Filipina beauty locally and abroad with Casino Filipino branches from Davao, Cebu, Bacolod, Angeles, Olongapo, Tagaytay, Heritage, Pavilion, Hyatt and Paranaque all joining in. I had a quick chat with Mr. Mike Angelo, Project Point Person (Ms. Casino Filipino 2011 Pageant) for Casino Filipino - Cebu about what makes this pageant stand out from other pageants. One major head turner is the huge prize money (Php300,000.00 to be exact) as well as the chance to work for Casino Filipino & PAGCOR for the 1st place winner and the opportunity to donate in-kind to a charity of her choice with the runners-up winning cash prizes ranging from Php50,000.00 to Php200,000.00! Now that's a real package deal "Beauty, Cash, and Charity" hand in hand.
 
Another interesting aspect of the pageant is that contestants will be asked to fill out what their advocacy is as a main requirement for those who would like to join. Most beauty pageants primarily goes about with swimsuit, talent, and evening gown categories as well as the important Q & A portion. Among the contestants who would join, 12 lovely ladies will be chosen on August 2, 2011 (screening night) and then move on to the Pre-Pageant night on August 3, 2011 wherein 3 out of the 12 contestants from the screening night at the Teatro Casino of Casino Filipino - Cebu branch at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel & Casino. The 3 lucky Cebuana beauties will then fly to Manila for the for the coronation night to be held on September 3, 2011 at the PAGCOR Grand Theater, Airport Casino Filipino, Paranaque City, all expense paid.
