Good news for fans of Alice in Chains. The band is heading back into the studio soon to begin working on a follow-up to the their successful 2009 album Black Gives Way to Blue.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Jerry Cantrell said that the band has been working on new material despite his undergoing a recent medical procedure. "We started writing last year," revealed Cantrell. "I had shoulder surgery. I had to get some bone spurs and torn cartilage taken care of, so that put me back a little bit. But we’ve been writing through the whole process."
