It’s official: Ben Folds Five are recording their first full-length album in over a decade. 

Last year, Ben Folds reunited with Ben Folds Five bassist Robert Sledge and drummer Darren Jessee to record three news songs for his greatest hits album, The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective.  Now Folds has revealed that all three are in the studio working on a new album, tweeting, “It’s happening fo sho -- Day 1 in studio with Robert and Darren through March #NewBenFoldsFiveRecord.” Folds added that the new album should be ready to released sometime this spring.

Fans can check out Ben Folds Five's new songs live when the band headlines this year's Mountain Jam festival which takes place May 31-June 3 at Hunter Mountain, NY.  Single-day tickets or a three-day pass are available, with all the info at MountainJam.com.
