For all you Bootleg Gold fans out there, we have a special rocking treat for you! Headlining a few days back was the confirmation that BLACK SABBATH's original member have confirmed that they're heading back to the studio to record an album of new material with top producer Rick Rubin. Ozzy Osbourne, Bill Ward, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler reunited for a press conference at the Whisky A-Go-Go in LA Friday morning which was also the 41st anniversary of their first concert at the fabled venue. The group will also have a world tour and headline Britain's Download Festival in June aside from recording their first studio album together since 1978. It was earlier disclosed by guitarist Iommi that the band had secretly regrouped and rehearsed at Osbourne's home in California. As with all great rock bands there will always be controversy and for BLACK SABBATH the four original members reunited on and off between 1997 and 2006 for live events but a feud over the bands name drove a wedge between Iommi and Osbourne which led to a brief legal battle that has been dropped already.
