When asked the classification of Bootleg Gold, what comes to mind is rock-and-roll, but what is it really? Martha T portrays it as “a diverse show with a wide range of genres within the rock turf put together exquisitely” to appeal to head-bangers, listeners who in general trip-out on hard and heavy sounds, all the way to a chill audience that simply likes listening to fine music.

Rock music originates from popular sounds of the 50s when black R&B and white country and western music combined to evolve into rock-and-roll. From the king of rock Elvis Presley to the revolutionary idols The Beatles and moving on to legendary bands like The Doors, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones just to name a few and icons like Jimi Hendrix and more, rock progressed to a multi-faceted genre.

Today, we include heavy metal, art rock, progressive rock, acid rock, punk rock and even alternative, grunge and many other sub-genres in the one huge universal genus called r-o-c-k!

And this is really what describes Bootleg Gold!
