There’s only one human being Y101 can think of in this entire planet who would choose going to Bulgaria to going to Las Vegas – and that’s Jiggy Jr.!
Don’t get us wrong now – Bulgaria has to be quite a quaint and charming little country in the Balkans, rich in culture and tradition and well heeled in history – but Sin City? No holds bar in persona! How can one resist the temptation of going to pure indulgence, no rules of conduct, world-class peccadillo and plain and simple entertainment at its best, specially being an entertainer himself?
Well, that’s Jiggy for you!
“I know, I know! Don’t make me feel any worse than what I’m already feeling,” cried Jiggy when Martha T told him what he was missing. Refusing a first-class ticket to attend the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), a two-week vacation break from work and a huge per-diem to spend on his – hmmm, whatever – must be pretty hard to rebuff.
Sometimes people were caught in between two important matriarchs – in Jiggy’s case, it was Mama and Mamacash! Mamas always triumph, though, and this is exactly what happened to poor ole Jiggy J who desperately wanted to hit up the clubs, shows and casinos. Instead he’s off to his sight-seeing tour to check out the Black Sea and Bulgarian custom jewelry.
Not a bad deal for as long as he comes back to Cebu with a 10-karat diamond ring from Bulgari (despite it being made in Italy)! And he has! Minus the Bulgari!
We missed Jiggy in the Morning when Jiggy left to look for his treasure chest in Borovo and Vulchitrun! But do not fret as Jiggy returns in no-time and he’ll continue to give you your favorite crack-of-dawn show, only better – when he returns with his new Indo-European look and diction!
