Even though Rihanna has just made history as a “single lady” with her 10^th No.1 single on the Billboard charts, American recording artist Beyonce (Knowles) remains to be the author of the real dance-pop track Single Ladies!

Except, that’s not what we’re talking about here today but rather what’s running the world right now in the wildest line of attack – her new single, Run The World (Girls)! Not quite a club-banger but an emancipation anthem which puts all the girls in charge, this new hit is definitely something you need to check out! Nothing unexpected from the woman who delivers empowering songs like Independent Women, Beyonce’s lead single from her new album was released last April 21!

Her yet-to-be-named upcoming album due in June is something to look forward to as well. It will be containing songs with a gumbo of R&B, rock, pop, house and every type of genre the artist fancies including dancehall and bounce influences inspired by musicians like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and The Stylistics from back in the ‘70s and ‘80s.

In the meantime, the rock band Journey lives on with their brand-new single, City of Hope, from their upcoming album Eclipse. This will be the second album with Arnel Pineda, the Cinderella-story Pinoy singer that shocked the globe!
