Dog days not quite gone in Cebu while Europe tosses new house hits with Guetta and more … Written by Mama Cash

Perhaps you may think that summer’s almost out the back door, but it’s actually not!

While in Cebu we’re nostalgically bidding the dog days adieu, other parts of the globe, particularly Europe, are only starting to welcome the rays as the sunny season begins. And together with those picnic days come the great vocal house tracks just about to be released in the following months to compliment “vacation” and spell out “party animals”!

To kick off the performance, The Flight presents 120 solid minutes of house tracks with DJ Bryan G on G.Phoric Sessions from 8 PM to 10 PM, as he brings us some of the hottest solstice sets in preparation for Europe’s riot time.

For hors d'oeuvres, expect some mashups from Italian-born Alessandro Alfonso Fortunato Guadino or who is better known as DJ Alex Guadino, title-holder of the “all-the-rage” track from 2007 Destination Calabria that dominated the UK and European singles charts launching his career as an international DJ.

In addition, Swedish electro house duo Olle Corneer and Stefan Ecblom or what is the young men of Dada Life, will toss you some lethal levels of dance reverbs with some of their latest electro mix tapes to heat the halcyon days.

And if you’re ready for some bona fide house, electro-house and hip house, you can surely look forward to none other than the French house music producer and DJ icon, David Guetta, with possibly some epic previews of his rock-inspired tracks out of his fifth album to be released this September.

Remember that full-blown smash single way back in 2001, Toca’s Miracle by Fragma – the No. 1 song in the UK which sold over 500,000 copies? Well, they’re back with a brand new mix, so anticipate some of that awesome electronic music tonight when Damae, Dirk Duderstadt, Marco Duderstadt and Ramon Zenker bring you their latest set!

Ready for a gear-change to the Clubber’s Guide Mixset when our Y101 house intern DJ Jake Guadez hypes you up with the special party blend to get you all ready for the weekend? That’s happening tonight as well from 10 PM to 11 PM on The Flight!

To draw to a close, prepare for those pre-Goldrush house tracks from 11 PM to 12 midnight with

80s and 90s mixes all combined to set you in the mood for Friday.
