 Getting down and nasty with some of the most requested tracks, Y101 top-notch clubbing DJ Bryan G foresees more all the rage house tracks as Y101 Always First plays it earliest!
And talking about firsts, Bryan spots UK trio Above and Beyond’s new single to be the next big track debut over here at Y101. It’s title: a secret! Admired for their forward-thinking electronic remixes in the uplifting trance, vocal trance and progressive trance genres, the group has reached soaring heights with their collabos and productions!
As usual, from 8 PM to10 PM, G.Phoric Sessions brings you cutting-edge au caurant tracks from Melbourne-born Grant Smillie, who tours clubs around his homeland Australia with state-of-the-art sets. Also presenting the French remixer and producer of electro house Joachim Garraud, famed for his collaborations with David Guetta and Jean-Michael Jarre, The Flight is sounding more like it’ll kick-ass!
Something interesting to check out is the Swedish House Mafia feature which BG will unleash tonight as well. Obviously an offshoot of Swedish house music acts; this terzetto consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso was formed in the latter part of 2008 and is now an award winning group releasing singles like Save the World and achieving international success in the house world.
In addition, expect sets from the German house and trance icon Tom Novy. Author of many club hits, he will certainly have something avant-garde and virgin for your ears tonight.
And as always from 10 PM to 11 PM, Y101 intern DJ Jake Guadez is back with some spic and span Dirty Dutch house tracks for another edition of Clubber's Guide all ready to start you up for your dance adventure this weekend.
Last but not least, from 11 PM to12 midnight - the 80s and 90s mixes await you to welcome Friday Gold Rush.
