Earlier today, that photo was uploaded to a photo-sharing website called Splash News. The picture, that shows two men carrying a large suitcase, was captioned with a claim that singer Taylor Swift was inside.
The photo caption read; “Taylor Swift being transported in a huge suitcase from her Tribeca apartment into her truck. A fleet of cars including two large cadillacs and three suv’s arrive at Tailor Swift’s apartment in Tribeca to move a large suitcase from apartment to truck. Almost a dozen of Taylor Swift security guards were present to move this package carefully as Taylor Swift remains to be unseen for a long time.”

Splash News has since retracted the caption, because, well, the story was too ridiculous to be real. “I literally just put the phone down from someone on Taylor’s camp,” a Splash representative told SPIN magazine , “We’re having to actually retract that.”
Taylor Swift has been absent from social media for most of 2017. So when someone claims the singer was hiding from the public in ridiculous ways, the imaginations of fans and followers of Swift begin to run wild!
