University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) is hosting the 3rd International Conference on Multidisciplinary Filipino Studies 2019 (ICMFS2019) on November 22-24, 2019 at USPF Lahug Campus, Cebu City.

The three-day international conference is sponsored by the University of Hawaii in Hilo, USA and is designed by its Filipino Studies Program. The conference will feature presentations in Agricultural, Health, Natural and Applied Sciences; Area Studies, Migration, and Diaspora; Arts and Humanities (Language, Linguistics, Literature); Business, Accountancy, and Management; Education, Economics, and Social Sciences; Engineering, Architecture, and Built Environment and Law, Public Administration, and Politics & Governance.

ICMFS2019 is the outcome of the partnership between USPF and University of Hawaii Hilo on October 2018. After its successful conception in Hawai’i in 2017, the conference was envisioned to travel all over the three main regions of the Philippines.

In 2018, ICMFS was successfully hosted in Luzon by De La Salle University – Dasmariñas.

The conference is slated to be hosted in other Asian countries following the Mindanao leg in 2020 to be hosted by Southeastern Philippines (USeP)-Davao.

ICMFS2019 comes with the Department of Education (DepEd) advisory, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) endorsement, and Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation.
