The 22-year old American music producer has caught lightning in a bottle with his smash ballad hit I hate u I love u which peaked at number 3 last week. This week Gnash with a little help from his vocalist Olivia O’Brien finally overthrew Ruth B and her ballad hit Lost Boy from the top. Pushing the Canadian balladeer back to number 2.

Speaking of Canadians, the alternative pop rock band Simple Plan hit a massive blow this week as their new single Singing in the Rain taken from their fifth studio album Taken One for the Team drops significantly far from two to #7.The accompanying music video for the song was directed by Mark Staubach and pays homage to the 1996 film, That Thing You Do!.The song charts just behind DNCE’s Toothbrush who climbed the WT20 from eleven to #6.

Kent Jones’ international hit Don’t Mind rises to the charts at break neck speed. It debuted on the chart last week at 17 and now climbs fast at #5. This catchy R&B/Hip-hop dancehall mix is looking to top the charts real soon.

Meanwhile, three songs debut this week; Fergie’s provocative MILF$ entering the charts at number 19, Fifth Harmony and Fetty Wap’s All in My Head(Flex) at 17, and 5 Seconds of Summer’s Castaway at 16.
