: Lukas Graham’s 7 Years Number One

Give it up for Lukas Graham!!!

Lukas Graham’s emotional ballad debuted at number 18, the next week it climbed to number 9, and on the third went straight up the number one position. Making it one of the shortest climbs to the top in WT20 history.

As we do every week, let us rundown the charting songs of the Weekly Top 20. Let us highlight the songs in the soundtrack of your summer!

The Danish group may have its quickest claim to the top but can they stay there for a long time? Last week’s number one song was Work From Home by the girl group Fifth Harmony who in this week went back to number 3. 7 Years might stay on the top for another 7 weeks or just for 7 days, its powerful narrative and popularity might become a factor for its lasting power on the top. In the meantime, Justin Bieber’s single Company has also been climbing really fast. It is currently sitting suspiciously at number 2.

An L.A. boy band called The Tide (that signed on The Vamps’ new record label) has dropped 8 positions down, making it this week’s lowest drop. Their catchy pop single What You Give drops to number 19, just sitting next to the edge of the 20 position which is held by Little Mix and Jason Derulo in their collaboration Secret Love Song.

Three new awesome tracks debut this week. David Guett and John Legend’s soulful Listen joins the list at number 15. Flume’s most popular and most accessible single Never Be Like You with vocals by Kai debuted to number 17. Kanye West protégé Travis Scott and his love-it or hate-it trap/hip-hop Swae Lee sounding Antidote comes in at 18.

Nick Jonas and Tove Lo’s Close is expected to debut next week.
