Alcoy is a Southern town in Cebu located 93 kilometers from Cebu City. Named after the city Alcoy in Spain, Alcoy town Cebu is mainly an agricultural mountain town with wonderful beaches on the shore.
One of the most popular places in Alcoy is Tingko Beach, a beautiful little strip of fine white-sand along the shore. People often come to the family-friendly Tingko Beach and set up tents, but if you couldn’t bring any, you can just rent a tent at the beach for only P500-P700. It’s one of many beaches in Cebu that offers crystal clear bluegreen water that’s fun and relaxing for everybody.
Alcoy is also known for its diving spots. As the water off the coast in Alcoy is crystal clear, you can definitely see the beautiful underwater marine life. It’s a great place to scuba dive and see the corals and reefs up close.
