Sia Releases Music Video and Song ‘The Greatest’, Kendrick Lamar Collaboration

Sia shared her new single called The Greatest, a song she collaborated with Kendrick Lamar, with a music video starring Maddie Ziegler.

The Greatest follows on from Sia’s latest album This Is Acting, released in January. This new song features a guest verse from modern day Hip-Hop legend Kendrick Lamar, (however he did not show up in the music video).

The video, released at the same time the song dropped, features Sia’s favorite dancer Maddie Ziegler, with her usual idiosyncratic choreography.

For the past few months, Sia has been busying herself by joining the cast of My Little Pony: The Movie. As well as providing the voice of a pony pop star called Songbird Serenade, she will contribute a pair of original songs to the film's soundtrack, both to be released next year.

She has also recorded a cover of The Beatles' 'Blackbird in the Netflix animated series called Beat Bugs, a children’s animated series whose each episode’s plot are inspired by the music of The Beatles. Her cover will feature in episode 13 of the series where it soundtracks a blackbird struggling to fly.
