Legendary singer-songwriter who composed Hallelujah passed away last week at the age of 82.
Leonard Cohen’s manager Robert B. Kory has released a statement to The New York Times, saying: “Leonard Cohen died during his sleep following a fall in the middle of the night on Nov. 7.”
“The death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful,” Kory added.
After news of his death broke last week, the world of music and countless artists he inspired rushed to pay tribute to the late musician.
