According to an interview with Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson on the Evening Standard, the Purple One’s favorite color wasn’t even purple, despite his career being framed and colored by the mixture of blue and red.
Prince’s favorite color was in fact, orange.
“It is strange because people always associate the colour purple with Prince…” Nelson says in the interview, “but his favourite colour was actually orange.”
