Scrambled Eggs

Spice up our favorite go-to source for protein with some additions you may not have thought of before!

Inexpensive and versatile- eggs are a quick way to whip up a filling breakfast. Sometimes the usual salt and pepper or the tomatoes and red onions combo could be repetitive and boring. But don't fret- give our favorite food source some love with these combinations you may not have tried yet!

Scrambled Egg with Chorizo

Scrambled Egg with Chorizo

This is an old favorite- use your favorite brand or make of chorizo and get rid of the skin. Mash against the frying pan on medium heat and let those chorizo bits cook and get crispy. You don't need oil as chorizo already has fat. Add your favorite spices and herbs such as onion and oregano. Simmer for 1 minute and lower the heat and crack an egg and add salt and pepper to season. A must-try if you haven't!

Scrambled Egg with Crab and Chives

A taste of familiar oriental flavor, whip up a batch by beating 2 eggs, shredded crab meat, diced chives and cook over low heat. Add salt and pepper to to taste. This will make breakfast a meal to look forward too indeed!

Scrambled Egg with Spinach and Cheese

Scrambled Egg with Spinach and Cheese

Locally our spinach available is called the Alugbati and this has served as a breakfast staple alone in my household or as a side dish in many Pinoy and Chinese restaurants. Add loads of nutrition into your breakfast with this combination! Add garlic and onions and sautee over a frying pan. Add the alugbati and cook for up to 2 minutes or until the leaves have wilted. Lower the heat and crack an agg and stir in some of your favorite cheese. Yum!

Curried Scrambled Eggs

Curried Scrambled Eggs

Ah yes, a flavorful meal during the important time of the day! Saute tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers and garlic. Make sure the tomatoes are already soft and press with your fork to get the juices out. As soon as your vegetables are wilted, crack an egg, add salt, pepper and curry powder to taste. Now that's a must-try and another vegetarian option for you!#y101 #alwaysfirst #otp
